About Our School

Anderson Valley Adult School’s mission is to provide high-quality instruction and supportive services that help our community achieve family, career and personal goals.  

We offer a range of free and low-cost classes including English classes for non-native speakers, Citizenship preparation, GED/HiSET test preparation, Spanish for non-native speakers, parent education workshops and a range of enrichment classes. All of our teachers and staff members are bilingual (English/Spanish), and free childcare is available during class times.

Our classes are open to any person 18 years of age or over who can benefit from instruction. Most classes have open enrollment and are provided in accessible settings (Ed Code #52610).
