Lucy Plancarte, Citizenship Teacher & ESL & Spanish Assistant
Lucy Plancarte was born and raised in Jacona Michoacán Mexico. As a teenager she migrated to the USA with her family. Lucy enrolled herself in school and had to learn English. Learning a second language as an adult gave Lucy the skills to be a great ESL assistant. She knows the struggles and difficulties that it takes to learn something new. She also taught herself the citizenship process and now she has been able to share this experience with others and supports our community with citizenship classes.
Lucy loves her community and likes to help others archiving their dreams anyway possible. Lucy believes that attending our adult school not only brings you knowledge, but will give you courage in your daily life.
